The Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health introduces students to workplace safety principles and practices. It is ideal for individuals seeking entry-level knowledge in hazard prevention and workplace safety compliance.
Applicants must have successfully completed Form 5 with a minimum of 25 points in their best Six (6) subjects. Applicants must have passed three (3) sciences, minimum symbol D or better in Mathematics, Biology, Physical Science and Agriculture.
Accepted qualifications include EGCSE, IGCSE, GCE O’Level, Matric, or AS Level.
The course structure includes basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and life support, patient assessment, emergency response procedures, rescue fundamentals, trauma management basics, ambulance assistance and practical emergency drills.
