Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
BACKGROUND
The aim of the programme is to strengthen the workplace’s ability to protect workers from injuries and illnesses. The strong hold of the participant will be the identification and control of occupational hazards at the workplace and also providing an understanding of legal requirements.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of four (4) passes including English Language at SGCSE/ IGCSE/ GCE/ O’LEVEL/ COSC or its equivalent. OR Two (2) years’ work experience OR Any other relevant qualification.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health shall be of one-year durationSemester 1 has 9 subject and semester 2 has 8 subject.Assessments shall occur through continuous assessment and formal examination per semester.
