The Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health introduces students to workplace safety principles and practices. It is ideal for individuals seeking entry-level knowledge in hazard prevention and workplace safety compliance.
Applicants must have successfully completed Form 5 with a minimum of 25 points in their best Six (6) subjects. Applicants must have passed three (3) sciences, minimum symbol D or better in Mathematics, Agriculture, Biology, Physical Science and Geography.
Accepted qualifications include EGCSE, IGCSE, GCE O’Level, Matric, or AS Level.
The Programme covers workplace safety basics, hazard identification, basic risk assessment, fire safety awareness, occupational health fundamentals, safety regulations, incident reporting procedures and practical workplace safety skills.
