Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health

  • A Master’s degree in Public Health or related field will be an added advantage. Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years teaching/lecturing experience in a tertiary institution (preferred).

  • Experience in community health, epidemiology, health promotion, or primary health care.

  • Clinical or field experience in public health programmes is advantageous.

    Key Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of public health principles, epidemiology, and health systems.

  • Ability to teach undergraduate public health modules effectively.

  • Curriculum development and assessment design skills.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and student support skills.

  • Proficiency in academic research and evidence-based practice.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures in Public Health-related modules.

  • Develop teaching materials, assessments, and practical activities.

  • Supervise student projects and fieldwork.

  • Participate in curriculum development and departmental administration.

2. Lecturer: Nursing & Public Health

Job Title: Lecturer- Nursing / Public Health

Department: Public Health

Position Type: Full-time

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

  • A Master’s degree in Public Health (compulsory) or better.

  • Current registration with the relevant Nursing Council/Professional Body.

    Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years clinical nursing experience in primary health care, community health, or

    hospital settings.

  • At least 2 years teaching/lecturing experience (preferred).

  • Experience in public health programming, disease prevention, or health systems strengthening.

    Key Competencies:

  • Strong integration of nursing practice and public health principles.

  • Expertise in community health nursing, epidemiology, and health promotion.

  • Ability to teach both theoretical and practical components.

  • Curriculum development and student assessment expertise.

  • Strong mentorship and clinical supervision skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach nursing-related public health modules and MPH-aligned content.

  • Supervise clinical placements and community-based training.

  • Develop curricula integrating nursing and public health competencies.

  • Conduct research and contribute to departmental publications.

  • Support student academic development and professional growth.
