1. Lecturer: Public Health<\/strong>
Job Title: Lecturer- Public Health<\/strong><\/p>

Department: Public Health <\/strong><\/p>

Position Type: Full-time<\/strong><\/p>

Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>

  • A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Public Health<\/p><\/li>

  • A Master\u2019s degree in Public Health or related field will be an added advantage. Experience Requirements:<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    • Minimum of 2\u20133 years teaching\/lecturing experience in a tertiary institution (preferred).<\/p><\/li>

    • Experience in community health, epidemiology, health promotion, or primary health care.<\/p><\/li>

    • Clinical or field experience in public health programmes is advantageous.<\/p>

      Key Competencies:<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      • Strong knowledge of public health principles, epidemiology, and health systems.<\/p><\/li>

      • Ability to teach undergraduate public health modules effectively.<\/p><\/li>

      • Curriculum development and assessment design skills.<\/p><\/li>

      • Strong communication, facilitation, and student support skills.<\/p><\/li>

      • Proficiency in academic research and evidence-based practice.<\/p>

        Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        • Deliver lectures in Public Health-related modules.<\/p><\/li>

        • Develop teaching materials, assessments, and practical activities.<\/p><\/li>

        • Supervise student projects and fieldwork.<\/p><\/li>

        • Participate in curriculum development and departmental administration.<\/p><\/li>

        • Engage in research and community outreach initiatives<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

          • Current registration with the relevant Nursing Council\/Professional Body.<\/p>

            Experience Requirements:<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

            • Minimum of 2\u20135 years clinical nursing experience in primary health care, community health, or<\/p>

              hospital settings.<\/p><\/li>

            • At least 2 years teaching\/lecturing experience (preferred).<\/p><\/li>

            • Experience in public health programming, disease prevention, or health systems strengthening.<\/p>

              Key Competencies:<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

              • Strong integration of nursing practice and public health principles.<\/p><\/li>

              • Expertise in community health nursing, epidemiology, and health promotion.<\/p><\/li>

              • Ability to teach both theoretical and practical components.<\/p><\/li>

              • Curriculum development and student assessment expertise.<\/p><\/li>

              • Strong mentorship and clinical supervision skills.<\/p>
