Job Title: IT INTERN\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Context<\/span><\/p>

The IT & Academic Support Intern will assist in the daily operations of the IT Department and support academic activities within the computer lab. The role is designed to provide practical experience in IT support, systems maintenance, and classroom assistance while contributing to the efficiency of the department.<\/p>

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>

1. Academic Support<\/strong><\/p>

  • Assist during practical computer lessons and support students with tasks \u2022 Help prepare learning materials and set up for classes \u2022 Assist with marking assignments, tests, and basic record-keeping \u2022 Provide basic guidance to students on computer usage and applications<\/li><\/ul>

    2. Computer Lab Management<\/strong><\/p>

    • \u00a0Set up and prepare the computer lab before classes \u2022 Ensure all computers, projectors, and equipment are functional \u2022 Report faults or issues with equipment \u2022 Assist during events, meetings, and presentations requiring IT setup<\/li><\/ul>

      Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>

      • Diploma or Associate Degree in Information Technology,<\/li>
      • Computer Science, or related field<\/li>
      • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking<\/li>
      • \u00a0Familiarity with Microsoft Office and common applications<\/li>
      • Willingness to learn and take initiative<\/li><\/ul>
